A bus bridge is replacing BART trains between the South Hayward and Union City stations over the long holiday weekend due to a track replacement project.
Free buses are available and riders should add 20-25 minutes to their trips on Sunday and Monday.
Crews are replacing critical track components between the two stations and starting work on a storage facility at the Hayward Maintenance Complex for new Fleet of the Future cars, BART officials said.
The next shutdown weekend planned for the project will be June 19-20.More information is available at https://www.bart.gov/.
