Free Power of the Pack Youth Clinic Set for February 2 - Northern Illinois University Athletics

DeKALB, Ill. – Northern Illinois University Athletics invites all elementary and middle school girls and boys in grades one through eight to the Power of the Pack Youth Clinic on Wednesday, February 2 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. (CT).
 
This free event takes place inside Victor E. Court in the NIU Convocation Center prior to the NIU versus Bowling Green women's basketball game, which tips off at 6 p.m.  While participation in the Clinic is FREE and walk-ups are welcome, advance registration is requested. Use this link to register today.
 
All participants at the Clinic, which includes the opportunity to interact and learn skills from NIU student-athletes from the gymnastics, track and field, volleyball, softball, tennis, soccer and golf teams, receive free admission to the women's basketball game that night. Adults accompanying the clinic participants can purchase a ticket to the game for $4 each. Indicate the number of discount tickets requested in the registration form. Parking at the Convocation Center is free.  
 
In addition to participating in sports with the Huskie student-athletes, there will be a poster-making station and a photo opportunity with NIU mascot Victor E. Huskie. Also note that face masks are required in NIU athletics facilities, including during the Power of the Pack Youth Clinic. Following the Clinic, participants will be invited to form the entrance tunnel for the NIU women's basketball team when they take the floor in the arena prior to the game.
