The MTV Video Music Awards air live from Newark, N.J., this Sunday, Aug. 28, at 8 p.m. Eastern on MTV. Check out the complete list of VMA nominees. LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow will be sharing hosting duties this year.
Harlow joins Lil Nas X and Kendrick Lamar as the top nominees with seven each. They’re followed by Harry Styles and Doja Cat, who have six each. Tonight’s awards also feature 26 first-time nominees. Madonna becomes the first artist to be nominated in all five decades the show has aired, earning a nod for her album “Madame X.”
