Astros vs. Mariners Game 1: How to watch MLB playoffs for free - MassLive.com

The Houston Astros will host the Seattle Mariners in Game 1 of the ALDS on TBS at 3:37 p.m. ET, as the MLB playoffs continue Tuesday.

AL Cy Young candidate Justin Verlander (18-4, 1.75 ERA) will start for the Astros opposite Mariners righty Logan Gilbert 13-6, 3.20 ERA).

Verlander went 5-1 with a 2.34 ERA (42 ⅓ innings, 11 earned runs) in six starts vs. the Mariners this season. Gilbert went 2-1 with a 2.52 ERA (25 innings, 7 earned runs) in four starts vs. the Astros this season.

The Astros had a bye in the Wild Card round while the Mariners upset the Blue Jays in Toronto, sweeping them in two games.

Seattle catcher Cal Raleigh went 4-for-8 with a homer and double in the two wins vs. the Jays.
