St. James Court Art Show – A juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show featuring over 600 artists from around the U.S. held among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes in the heart of historic Old Louisville.This 4-square block, outdoor art show takes place annually on the first weekend of October, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
October 1
Movie in the Park at Bicknell Park in New Albany.Park opens at 6:00 p.m., movie starts at dark, approximately 7:30 p.m. Don’t forget your favorite movie snack, a blanket and chair, and, of course, your family and friends!

Steamboat Nights Silent Disco – It’s just like a regular disco, but with headphones! We provide the DJ, headphones and the vibes – you bring the moves and it’s a party! Join us for the silent disco at Steamboat Nights next weekend! 7:00pm – 11:00pm

Preschool Puppy Party – 10:00am – 1:00pm, Preschool literacy event that includes canine entertainment from Team Zoom, special guest appearances by the Poky Little Puppy and Martha, family-friendly activities, and lots more. Plus, every preschooler will receive a free book, courtesy of the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council.

Portland Art & Heritage Fair – This is the 8th year of
exhibiting and promoting all the creativity and history pouring out ofour little bend in the river. This year, our theme is Full Circle. Booths, tours, art workshops, musical performances, and more. 12:00pm

Harvest Homecoming – Booths, food, rides, car shows, parades and more are plentiful during this fall festival in New Albany.

Pepsi Plaza Concert – Free weekly concert series featuring The Jesse Lees. In addition to live music, the event will feature roving performances from Cirque Louie, local food trucks, and more. 5:00pm
October 9
The Rosewater Fall Festival – Celebrate FALL with us at The Rosewater! We’ll have another outdoor $1 sale, as well as other vendors, hot cider, and crafts! 10:00am – 2:00pm.

Paristown Flea –Located outdoors in the historic district of Paristown in Louisville, Kentucky near the “The Cafe” and the indoor Fleur de Flea Warehouse.Enjoy an eclectic mix of vendors selling vintage, vinyl, antiques, mid-century, art deco, plants, books, repurposed and more! 9:00am – 6:00pm. Special Needs Trunk or Treat – Park Community Credit Union & FEAT of Louisville present the 5th annual Trunk or Treat for special needs. Halloween October events in Louisville are great! This FREE event will be filled with festive decorations, costumes and plenty of treats. We welcome all special needs individuals and their families to join in on the fun. 4:00-6:00pm

National Fossil Day Celebration – Celebrate National Fossil Day at the Falls of the Ohio State Park with a series of special fossil bed hikes, reduced admission for the Interpretive Center, guides on the collecting piles and more. 10:00am – 4:00pm

Market on Mellwood Fall Festival – Join us for the last Market on Mellwood for 2021 as you stroll through the Mellwood Art Center courtyard shopping from local talented artisans. Food and fun for everyone including kids as we transition into the Fall season. Get a jump on your holiday shopping for sure! 10:30am-4:30pm

Halloween MAINia – Join us for trick-or-treating at participating businesses in Historic Downtown La Grange! We will have booths with activities and the Candy Swap Shop for children who need to can swap out their candy for other treats. 11:00am-3:00pm
Wednesdays – Sundays starting October 2: Blue’s Light Show is putting on a Halloween light show display for everyone. October events in Louisville like this are perfect for 2021! They have done wonderful light shows for Christmas and to lift spirits during the pandemic and now they are going to add Halloween! Wednesdays & Sundays 7:30pm-9:30pm. Fridays & Saturdays 7:30pm-10:30pm. The last week of October starting the 26th runs everyday from 7pm-10pm until November 1st. Make sure to tune your radio to 91.3FM to hear the music.
